Refuse & Recycling

Curbside Leaf Pickup 2021:

The Department of Public Works will be conducting leaf pickup beginning Monday Nov 1 and continuing for the remainder of the month of November. Leaves must be in paper bags with no other foreign objects or objectionable materials.  Residents should put bagged leaves ready for pickup curbside on their regular refuse pickup day, and leave them out until they're picked up. If possible, please make an attempt to cover or protect the bags in the event of inclement weather. Please keep in mind that Thursday 11/11 and Thursday 11/25 are holidays which will delay pickups those weeks.

Overview

The Department of Public Works is responsible for weekly transportation of Refuse and Recycling from Westfield’s residences to the Twiss St. Transfer Station.
