Department of Conservation and Recreation - Free Parking Pass

The Westfield Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce our participation in the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Use your Nature as Your Guide program. We have a Massachusetts Parks Pass hang tag for residents of our community to visit state parks.

The pass enables the bearer to free parking for one vehicle (excluding buses or vans) at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts state parks system that charge a day-use parking fee. Parking fees range from $9.00 - $20.00 between Memorial Day and Columbus Day.
The Parks Pass may be borrowed at the Parks and Recreation office. In order to borrow this pass, we will require a copy of your license. We need to know, in advance, all dates requested in order to ensure the pass is available for each customer. The state park you plan to visit will be recorded. Any lost passes will be result in a $60.00 upon return.

Patrons can visit the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation web page for information on parks, campgrounds, forests, mountains, and beaches with over 449,000 acres of recreation areas in Massachusetts. .
To borrow the pass, please contact the City of Westfield Parks and Recreation Department at 413-572-6263. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to enjoy some of Massachusetts' special places and reap the benefits of healthy outdoor recreational activities. The Parks and Recreation Department is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
